In-Studio Wedding Portrait Paintings
Thank you for your interest in commissioning an In-Studio Wedding Portrait. I am committed to creating a truly unique, timeless work of art for you, and the creation of a wedding portrait is usually found to be an enjoyable process by all.
The process involves getting together, and my creating reference images, which may include sketches and photos. For wedding portraits, this would be done, in part, via my attending the event.
Then small painting studies will be done and sent to the client within a few weeks, giving the idea for the composition for the painting. After approval of this sketch by the client, work begins on the final painting.
This usually will be completed within three to six months of the initial sitting. Payment is 1/3rd on deposit, 1/3rd after your approval of the compositional sketch, and 1/3rd at completion of the portrait. Your input into the process is welcome.
I have yet to have a commission where those closest to the subjects of the painting did not have valuable suggestions about the portrait. I want you to feel that this is a collaborative effort, and your happiness with the final work as our shared goal.

Prices are in US Dollars. Framing is not included in price, and travel expenses might be added depending on the event. All prices are for original paintings on canvas, for one figure.

Additional figures are 25% per person. Examples;
a 16"x20" canvas with two figures would be 3800.00 plus 450.00 = 4250.00
a 30"x40" canvas with four figures is 9000+2250+2250+2250= 15750
